Get yourself a drone for a few hundred quid and you’ll be capturing cinematic aerial footage in no time. We’re not here to dampen people’s dreams too much, but the process from ordering your drone online to re-creating the opening shot from The Shining involves quite a few complicated steps.

Beyond the boring admin of the correct licensing, insurance and flight permissions, drone video production requires the same filmmaking knowledge of camera angles, lighting and composition that any other form of filming does.

Pre-Production

From your initial idea or brief, we will work with you to develop scripts, create storyboards and plan all filming logistics. Through meetings, the development of creative visuals and written plans, when it’s time to begin production on your video project, we’ll be fully prepped and ready to go. Good planning is essential to successfully executing effective video content. That’s why we take the pre-production phase very seriously.

Production

Whether we’re filming on location, in a studio or producing computer-generated animations, the production phase is where the action actually happens. With a solid plan in our hands, the Glacé team will deploy all the appropriate resources to ensure your video content is executed in the way you need it to be, to the highest quality possible. Because the pre-production phase has been so successful, you can sit back safe in the knowledge that there will be no extra surprises during the production phase.

Post-Production

This is where we finalise your video content. All footage and assets will go through numerous rounds of editing, all leading to the delivery of that tantalising final content. Throughout this process, the Glacé team will provide regular updates and consult with you to ensure that everything we have previously planned is being delivered to the timelines agreed on. This is the exciting part where the finished product finally takes shape. We’ve planned, we’ve executed, now it’s time to deliver.
